Food and food products mostly exhibited were processed food, rice and rice products, snacks, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as equipment used in hospitality industry. The Trade Fair was rather compact but had high potential as visitors were able to browse through the whole event. The Office also visited a distributor and importer of organic produces in Auckland, Ceres Organics, which expressed interest in importing a wide variety of organics produce from Thailand such as durian, longan, mangoes, mangosteen, gingers etc. A market survey was also conducted at local mainstream, organic and Asian supermarkets such as Commonsense (specifically organic store), Countdown and New World supermarkets in order to determine the potential of Thai rice and food products particularly organics.
